Markians actively participated in the summer internship program of WWF Organization. WWF – Pakistan is one component of the WWF International family network, one of the world’s largest and most experienced independent conservation organizations.

WWF-Pakistan is currently implementing over 30 projects, including work on forests, freshwater, species, marine and coastal areas, climate change, education and awareness, poverty-environment linkages, and policy research and advocacy – and employs holistic approaches that mesh conservation and sustainable development initiatives. To tackle the issue of plastic pollution, WWF-Pakistan is working to create awareness through advocacy campaigns, seminars and activities with communities, and has been encouraging innovation by funding startups in partnership with diverse stakeholders with a focus on recycling.

Benchmark WWF Summer Internship Program 2023 successfully concluded with an exciting ‘Certificate Distribution Ceremony’ held at Benchmark College Campus to acknowledge and honor all the students for their passion for innovative learning. Markians came up with amazing ideas to create eco-friendly daily use items and concepts to save the environment.

Highlights of the on-going SOS Children’s Village Summer Internship Program 2023:

Markians are always willing to lend a helping hand in a time of need and believe in supporting humanitarian causes passionately. Our students have whole-heartedly enrolled for the SOS Children’s Village Summer Internship Program offered at SOS Children’s Village Rawalpindi by mentoring young children and teaching them academic courses and life skills.

Young Markians are the true leaders, compassionate community mobilizers of Pakistan and an inspiration for the youth of our country. Through these social welfare programs, we can offer guidance to our youth, stability, compassion and love which is essential to lead young minds to assume their roles and responsibilities towards their community. There is no greater joy than to give someone else happiness and a reason to smile!

Benchmark student Haniya Abrar, a Literature Enthusiast and Innovative and Mutahir Jawad, an aspiring Filmmaker and Inspirer on successfully completed the prestigious SMS Higher Education Group Summer Internship Program and becoming Social Media Expert in the summer!

The 5-weeks Summer Program featured skills like Social Networking, Team working, Community Service, Counselling Workshops, Fieldwork and much more with an honorary stipend of PKR.10,000 .

PSYCHOLOGY WORKSHOP:

The Psychological First Aid workshop was held exclusively at Benchmark College Campus. On the first day students were given an introduction to Psychological First Aid, goals of PFA, and model of PFA. The workshop was kept interactive and engaging through question answers and light discussions.

Psychological First Aid aims to equip students with the basic of education and awareness.  On second day students learned the basic skills required for lending Psychological help to anyone with a mental health condition, understanding how to help people going through an anxiety/panic attack and building personal emotional intelligence to cope with emotional and psychological challenges.

The 3-Days Psychological First Aid Workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony after students completed all modules of the workshop the learn the basic skills required for lending Psychological help to anyone with a mental health condition, understanding how to help people going through an anxiety/panic attack and building personal emotional intelligence to cope with emotional and psychological challenges.

Benchmark School System attended the LearnOBots Summer Internship Program 2023 at Benchmark School System

Benchmark School System attended the LearnOBots Summer Internship Program 2023 at Benchmark School System that was led by a team of certified STEM experts. The 5 Days Workshop began with STEM education to take students on a journey into the future. Markians eagerly learnt the basics of Python Coding Language and built their 1st ever program! They were taught the functionality and applications of Artificial Intelligence, the requirements of a Chat Bot and how it is a necessary component of every online application. Students were fascinated to learn how AI is being evolved and embedded into every aspect of life assisting human-beings in every field including medicine, business, healthcare, etc.

Through these social welfare programs, we can offer guidance to our youth, stability, compassion and love which is essential to lead young minds to assume their roles and responsibilities towards their community. Institute of Space and Technology Summer Internship 2023 Certificate Distribution Ceremony:

The official certificate distribution ceremony for IST Summer Internship Program 2023 was held at Benchmark college campus. Students of Benchmark School System who joined in the exciting inter-preneurship program at IST were honoured and awarded certificates of appreciation.

The WWF ECO Internship Community Service Group Project Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held at Benchmark College Campus to honour and award all Markians who successfully attended the 3 Days WWF ECO Summer Internship Program 2023.

Benchmark Summer Internship Program

Every Summer Benchmark A-Levels Campus offers ‘Exclusive Summer Internship Program’ for all O & A-Levels/ FSc/ ICS students. This internship program facilitates students in acquiring practical experiences that complement their chosen subjects as well as provides them with practical work experience. Benchmark believes in providing students with the highest standards in academics and equipping them with market knowledge and practical hands-on experience to enable them to excel in the corporate world. These enlightening experiences assist the students in ‘Academic & Career Profile Building’ essential for the ‘University Applications’ process. This program offers internships at various organizations including Software Companies, NGOs, MNCs, Telecom Companies, International & Local Banks, Media, Hospitals, Event Management, Working Online/ Blogging/ SEO Creative Content Writing, etc. It is mandatory for all students at Benchmark to complete a minimum of 60 hours of Community Service Work to acquire life skills and knowledge, as well as to become active members of the society. 

LearnOBots Summer Internship 2022

Students of Benchmark School System attended the 1st LearnOBots Summer Internship Program 2022 at Benchmark School System that was led by a team of certified STEM experts. The 5 Days Workshop began with STEM education to take students on a journey into the future. Markians eagerly learnt the basics of Python Coding Language and built their 1st ever program! Their first task was to create a student Result Card featuring several subjects showing marks obtained out of total marks. They constructed a robotic car inspired by NASA called the Mars Rover which could detect moisture/water using a platform created by LearnOBots and uploaded different codes for several functions into the Arduino. They were taught about the requirements of a Chat Bot and how it is a necessary component of every online application. An introduction to the new and fascinating concept of Blockchain was given to the students such as Barter System, Centralized & Decentralized Economy and Ledger Systems. The concluding workshop gave students an overview about 3D Modelling and 3D Printing. Students were instructed to create a Model House and a Rocket Spaceship using the 3D modeling program TinkerCAD and were very fascinated to learn about the functioning of a 3D Printer.

The Internship Program concluded successfully with a grand finale filled with fun-learning & celebrations followed by an exciting Certificate Distribution Ceremony to acknowledge and honor all the students for their passion for innovative learning!

The LearnObots Summer Internship Program 2022 at Benchmark School System takes students on a 21st-century learning adventure and encourages them to dream big and reach higher! As responsible, forward thinking educators, we share the goal of helping our students succeed in the 21st century by offering them a rich foundation in Engineering, Computer Science, Creative Design Thinking, Artificial Intelligence and Logical Reasoning.

Highlights of Al-Shifa Eye Trust Summer Internship 2022 – Session II

Markians are always willing to lend a helping hand in the time of need and believe in supporting humanitarian causes passionately. Students of Benchmark School System whole-heartedly enrolled for the second session of Al-Shifa Summer Internship Programme offered at Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospital Rawalpindi.

As part of the internship program, students were taken to the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Rawalpindiestablished in2007 by the Government ofPunjab to provide rehabilitation, care, education and training to the destitute and neglected children of the society. The Bureau not only provides food and shelter but also imparts education and skills to these children to make them useful citizens.

The Al-Shifa Eye trust medical staff briefed Markians about the Al-Shifa Volunteer Program so they could assist them in raising awareness about eye care in children and provide free eye screening/ testing for all the children at the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Rawalpindi.

Students of Benchmark engaged with the children to educate them about eye health/ hygiene and provide guidelines to ensure proper eye care.

Pakistan Red Crescent Society Summer Internship Program 2022

Markians participated in the internationally recognized Summer Internship Program at Pakistan Red Crescent Society National Headquarters Islamabad. This comprehensive internship program provided these interns with guidelines on First Aid, Health Care, CPR, Emergency Volunteer Program, Crisis Management and Disaster Management.

A special Certification Ceremony was held at the end of the PRCS Summer Internship Program to acknowledge and honor these young community mobilizers for their compassion, dedication, and commitment.

Al-Shifa Eye Trust Summer Internship Program 2022

Students of Benchmark School System actively enroll for the Summer Internship Programme offered at Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospitalevery year to serve humanity and become community change makers.Markians believe that the youth can make a positive change and work together with a collective motive and a common purpose in order to make the world a happy, better place to live in. These young leaders are the true, compassionate community mobilizers of Pakistan and an inspiration for the youth of our country.
