We are excited to announce that our school will be hosting a Naat Competition on Seerat-un-Nabi Day, which falls on September 21st, 2024. This event is a great opportunity for our students to showcase their talent and dedication to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the recitation of Naats.
Poetry in honor of the Prophet has been a feature of our heritage and dedication, even during the lifetime of the Prophet. We encourage all students who are interested in participating in this competition to prepare their Naats and submit the script to their respective Islamiat teacher.
The Islamiat teacher will listen to and select all the worthy reciters, who will then get their chance to perform on stage on Seerat-un-Nabi Day. Students may participate individually or in groups, and the Naat should not be longer than 2 minutes.
The best reciters will be awarded certificates and shields. We encourage all parents to support their children in this competition.
